To travel in a low waste style

To travel and still thinking about the environment is hard though I have some tips that might make it easier for you all 

Bring a small glass or metal container and your own spoon, fork and knife. I have a very lightweight kit that I bought from a store in Sweden called "Naturkompaniet". You can also bring your own drinking flask and your own reusable straw and your own shopping bag 

A smaller travel shampoo bar can also be good to travel with as well as maybe your normal shampoo, conditioner and shower gel bar. Bar shampoo is usually smaller, more compact and more lightweight than your normal liquid soaps. 

When you are travelling you also need to bring your deodorant your toothbrush and your toothbrush case and any other skin care products that you want to bring 

Usually, the non-plastic packed product is more lightweight than the normal products which is good when you travel 

Also, don't forget to bring your own bamboo hairbrush 

Also for people drinking coffee bring your own reusable coffee mug and if you drink tea bring your own reusable tea bag or tea strainer 

This goes for people who will be living away for longer times and who will be cooking bring your own baking mat your silicon bags as well as soy wax paper or beeswax paper or silicon holders so that you don't need to buy plastic wrap, plastic bags, and aluminium foil and parchment paper. don't forget to bring your own ice cube maker in silicon to make ice cubes for your drinks. 

Also bring your own wash bag to catch micro plastics if you will be doing laundry. 

In this way, you will be able to reduce a lot of the single-use plastics when you travel.
